Ross Wilson has put in another lowball offer for PAOK striker Antonio Colak.

With the Greek side putting a 3m euros price tag on the Croatian the Ibrox club have offered £2m plus add-ons including a bonus based on Champions League appearances. PAOK are unlikely to be impressed by that ‘jam tomorrow’ offer.

Five weeks away from a Champions League qualifier Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s striking options consists of the fragile talents of Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe.

To reach the group stage of the Champions League the Ibrox men will have to navigate their way through four August midweek dates with clubs from Frace and Holland possible opponents in the non-champions route,

At 9pm tonight The Sun reported:

RANGERS have upped the ante in their determined pursuit of striker Antonio Colak by tabling an increased £2 million bid plus add-ons to PAOK.

SunSport revealed the Gers had initially offered £1.75 million for the Croatian international — with the Greek side responding with a demand for £2.5 million.

Now, though, the Europa League finalists have made a fresh move for the 28-year-old who has made it known he’ll be happy to head for Ibrox if and when a transfer fee can be agreed.

And not only are Light Blues chiefs – aware Colak is now Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s first choice of a number of transfer options – prepared to pay more up front they’ve also told their PAOK counterparts they’ll pay further cash instalments based on appearances and success, including in the Champions League.

So far John Souttar is the only addition to van Bronckhorst’s squad. Morelos, Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo, Filip Helander and Ryan Jack are in the final year of their contracts.

2 crap offers they know won’t be accepted all so they can say to their fans “We tried but they widnae play ball”, repeat once or twice until the window closes (all the while praying no bid is actually accepted) and the season starts with the hordes having parted with the season book cash for nothing but the paying of mounting bills and director loans. Gullibilles from the newsroom to the gutter.

    Fuds.
