Allan McGregor is close to agreeing a new contract to stay on at Ibrox.Â
The 40-year-old goalkeeper was expected to retire at the end of last season but looks like signing up for at least one more season.Â
Steve Davis (37) and Scott Arfield (33) have signed up for another season giving credibility to the view that there won’t be much turnover in the squad that basically came together in 2018 under Steven Gerrard.Â

Having paid up for media access to Ibrox they can be counted on as a reliable source of what is happening inside Ibrox.Â
Despite reports of record turnover the only addition to last season’s squad is John Souttar from Hearts, last week the defender pulled out of the Scotland squad for Armenia due to injury.Â
Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo, Filip Helander and Ryan Jack have a year left to run on their contracts.Â
Who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler?

Is it an over 30s team they are putting together,I’m well over 30,but couple of things put me out of the running……….
