After his first close season as a Celtic player Joe Hart was back in the nets at Lennoxtown.Â
His summer break included singing a song about Callum McGregor with some boozy fans but it was back to business as Ange Postecoglou recalled his squad for the start of the new season.Â
A year ago Hart was in danger of becoming the forgotten man of Tottenham but a crisis at Celtic found him a new home and 60,000 fans welcomed him with open arms.Â
From the very start Hart appreciated the opportunity that he had been given. From afar he may have appeared a Big Time Charlie but at Celtic he was one of the bhoys, mucking in and relishing the opportunity that he had been given to revive his career.Â
Throughout the season there were some game changing saves, and heart-stopping moment too, as the former Manchester City keeper added two new medals to his collection.Â
Ben Siegrist has been signed by Celtic to supply competition for the goalkeeping jersey- he’ll need to be good to dispossess Hart who looks in the mood to build on last season’s successes.Â
