  1. When he said he was waiting to see if the Newco were going to make a move for him we should have binned him then..He’s a wee DOB

  2. If he’s truly turned us down in hopes of signing for the scum then he’s clearly a moron. Exactly the sort of plerr that Sevco likes so we aren’t really missing out then. I would say he might regret this when he grows up a but but somehow I doubt he’ll be wise enough or self-aware enough to realise his mistake…

  3. Who can blame him – if he’s staying with St Mirren, he has far more chance of developing by getting first team football & experience. We’ve had too many young lads who don’t get a look in & from Ange’s comments, he wasn’t being considered as a first team player. However, if it’s true that he’s waiting on The Rangers to come in for him then he’s a silly lad.

  4. If you are a young Scottish player, it would be sheer stupidity to sign for either Celtic or Rangers. You will just disappear into the ether and end up getting moved on. The lad is better staying with St Mirren or any other Scottish club where he is likely to play football in the first team. If the player excels the bigger clubs will soon come calling.
