Rabbi Matondo will miss the start of the SPFL season through injury.

The Welshman, widely reported to be the fastest man in the world over 20 metres, played in last Saturday’s defeat from Spurs but will miss today’s Premiership opener away to Livingston.

Fellow new boy Ridman Yilmaz will also miss out as he flies in from Turkey following his move from Besiktas with Alfredo Morelos, Kemar Roofe and Filip Helander also out injured.

Rabbi had his first individual session today and looked good. For tomorrow it’s a little short of time so he will be joining the group on Sunday to prepare for Tuesday’s game.
