Footage has emerged on Twitter tonight of an Ibrox fan making sickening gestures during Tuesday’s friendly against West Ham.
With the culprit easily to identify on footage from a mobile phone it shouldn’t be too difficult for the club to identify and ban the supporter involved, whether further action is necessary will be a decision for Police Scotland.
A large number of fans are viewing the incident which appears to have happened in the Sandy Jardine Stand close to the corner occupied by West Ham supporters.
In fairness to one home supporter the fan making the gestures is challenged, whether stewards noted the incident isn’t known but you’d expect a concentration of stewards and police closest to the visiting support.

These gestures have been noted before at Ibrox and attributed to a ‘red hand salute’ whatever that may be, in this case the additional gesture makes that defence virtually impossible.
On Saturday Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side complete their pre-season build up with a friendly at home to Spurs.
