Jim White has been quick to correct the alleged transfer fee that Ajax are about to pay for Calvin Bassey.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted that a 22m euro deal had been agreed between the two clubs ahead of the player undergoing a medical, on call 24/7 the veteran Ibrox fan turned to Twitter to claim a 27m euro fee plus the infamous add-ons that can turn a £6m transfer into a £10m deal to serve the gullible.

Alongside Chic Young, White is probably the longest running Ibrox cheerleader still working in the media with lengthy service going back to the arrival of Graeme Souness at Ibrox.

The then STV presenter would go to any length to show his devotion to the case, joining Mark Walters in uniform at an Orange Hall to demonstrate his loyalty.

After more than 20 years in London White can still be relied on to push the message coming out of Ibrox while working on his hobby of posing for gormless pictures with former Rangers (IL) footballers.

Of course it is Jim, 27m euros gets it to the magical Tierney fee in sterling doesn’t it and the add ons make it more..doesn’t it Jim….its all about validation validation validation…what a shower of sad smiths n jones’s they all are…..if it wasn’t so tragic it would be hilarious…btw, in my humble opinion, Ajax are making a big mistake forking out that kinda money on a guy who was getting absolute pelters off his own fans virtually every week at one point.
