A win against Hearts tomorrow will put Celtic clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership after a dramatic clash at Easter Road today.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side were twice in front but were pegged back for a draw by Hibs leaving Ange Posecoglou’s side as the only side in the top flight with a 100% record.

Willie Collum was at the centre of all the action as he awarded one penalty kick, sent off two players (John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos) then watched Josh Campbell equalise in the third of five minutes of stoppage time.

While that drama was kicking off the Celtic squad were training at Lennoxtown looking to extend their unbeaten run to 36 SPFL matches but more importantly win their fourth match of this season to go two points clear after four matches.

Hearts have their own incentive going into the match knowing that a win would take them into top spot after picking up seven points from their first three matches.

Hearts will get collective vertigo if they go top.

CIS Glasgow team to investigate chips and a bottle thrown at sevco players at today’s match against Hibs.
Though Police Scotland and the sevco high command still haven’t found the culprits who put broken glass on the sevco pitch in the Celtic goal area from ladt season or captured the thug who had thrown the bottle that split a Celtic staff members head wide open as yet.

If you only do one thing today, take the time to view all the main incidents from Easter Road in video. Poetic Justice. In my honest opinion Willie Collum is not necessarily biased towards any side but he IS a complete idiot.
    1) Look at the dive from Colak (didn’t take him long to learn THAT part of the Ibrox ‘craft’) and Gollum not only falls for the cheating but books the Hibs defender too. (I think a last man ‘foul’ demands a Yellow card in the laws of the game so maybe no choice there after initial mistake?
    2) Boyle’s equaliser a very good ‘strikers’ goal.
    3) The new huns go in front. Aye, okay!
    4) Lundstram in typical Ibrox fashion, if you can’t get the ball, kick the man. Straight red which Madden, Beaton & Co would never have given. Gollum was correct.
    5) Morelos, what a piece of shit. Two goes at the Hibs man with arm/elbow. Straight Red all day long. Fits in at Ibrox and that’s about his lot.
    6) And then, oh thank you Karma, thank you Fate, Campbell’s sublime 90+3 GOAL!

Good points TicToc. It’ll be interesting to see the Yorkshire Whistler on the excellent, Celtic By Numbers, take on the game. I do like that feature. I watched what I could, but having grandkids was not ideal for viewing. However, I’ll also look forward to the Sportscene take on events. Here’s hoping that tomorrow is not so “controversial”, and a comfortable win is our Sunday best.
