Celtic’s B team take on Albion Rovers in the SPFL Trust trophy tonight at Cliftonhill.

On Friday night Celtic B lost 2-1 at home to East Kilbride in a performance that Darren O’Dea described as their best of the season.
The SPFL Trust/Challenge Cup has proved a difficult task in the past for Celtic, last season they beat Gretna before losing out 3-1 to Championship side Morton.
With Bosun Lawal, Owen Moffat, Johny Kenny and Roco Vata having recent first team experience they’ll be expecting to go through tonight with Bonnyrigg Rose or Livingston B waiting in the next round for the victors.

Tough ask for the young Hoops . These teams are all older and more physical than our youngsters so I say they should go out and enjoy the experience. It all goes to making them better players under Darren and Big Mick. Hoping for the best.
