Neil McCann switched his Rangers TV hat for a cheque from BBC Scotland as he watched Hibs show up Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Champions League hopefuls.

For the second match running The Tribute Act drew 2-2 with a late equaliser feeling like a defeat for van Bronckhorst’s side.

The Dutch genius made just two changes to the side that started the Champions League Play Off and looked as flat and ineffective as Hibs during a stale first half.

Willie Collum denied Hibs a strong penalty claim on the half hour but just before the interval there was nothing wrong with his vision as he handed the visitors a lifeline with Tavpen doing what he does.

The second half swung backwards and forwards, John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos were sent off with justice done in stoppage time when Josh Campbell made the scoreline 2-2.

Afterwards Radio Scotland was plunged into a state of mourning, at 14.40 on their match-day blog they reported McCann saying:

Giovanni van Bronckhorst can say what he wants about Willie Collum, but he has a lot more questions for his team. They were so flat today. Their recovery is usually excellent, but I didn’t think they look sharp whatsoever. Hibs deserved a point in the end.

If van Bronckhorst doesn’t sort things out in midweek BBC Scotland will be covering Celtic in the Champions League then switching to their Ibrox heroes on Thursday nights.
