More media outlets may have been granted access to Ibrox but they know the clear areas that are out of bounds. 

Anything that wouldn’t appear in an in-house interview is strictly off limits such as the need to make four changes to the starting XI that lost on Tuesday to Union SG. 

Or the non-appearance of former Liverpool defender Ben Davies who never actually played for Liverpool. 

Or why the ineffectual strike force against Union SG was ditched against Kilmarnock or why Fahion Sakala, used as a substitute in the Europa League Final was unable to make the 20 man matchday squad against Kilmarnock. 

Instead every question was put in a positive light, talking up every decision by the manager with no reference to the Union SG elephant in the room that could be blocking out the light by Tuesday evening.

Van Bronckhorst will have another media conference on Monday to preview the return leg against Union which carries a £5m prize from UEFA and the chance to fleece fans for a Play Off tie against PSV Eindhoven or Monaco.
