Sky pundit wipes the smile off Kris Boyd’s face with Jota declaration

After his Aaron Ramsey declaration in January Kris Boyd is in danger of looking just as foolish a few weeks later.

Last week Scott Allan pressed a few buttons with the former Scotland striker when he suggested that Jota was the best player in Scotland. Boyd’s dismissive reaction was clearly noted by James McFadden.

Today Boyd was on Jota Duty, sharing his expert opinions alongside McFadden and John Hartson as Ange Postecoglou took his squad to play on plastic.

Last week it was three assists from Jota, today he took the headlines with one dynamic swing of the boot, firing a 25 yarder beyond Sam Walker to put Celtic 2-0 in front. Afterwards he showed his class by recognising the death of former Benfica midfielder Fernando Chalana.

In the clip Boyd looks agitated, not his usual wise-cracking self. McFadden is building up towards it, when he delivers the killer line his Sky colleague just isn’t entertaining the notion.

When It comes to Kris Boyd the rangers could be sitting at the bottom of the league and he will always say they are better than us. The best thing to do is not waste any of your time listening to a guy who will always hate Celtic. COYBIG ???
