Celtic’s opening day clash with Aberdeen turned out to be comfortable enough but there was a concerning 72 minute gap between goals.
Stephen Welsh headed the champions in front after three minutes, somehow there was no more scoring before the interval with Ange Postecoglou describing his side as wasteful around goal.
Celtic picked it up again after the break, on orders from the manager, and looked to have a very good claim for a penalty 10 minutes into the second half.
Penalty or no penalty? ?

Perhaps panic struck, Anthony Stewart launched himself head first at Reo Hatate as he prepared to shoot from 10 yards out.
The Celtic player was forced to take evasive action, his shot trudged gently into the arms of Kelle Roos with referee Nick Walsh waving play on, nothing to see here.
Before too long VAR will come into use in Scottish football, that incident will be one of the borderline incidents bound to cause controversy.
