Over the last 15 months the Australian media has looked on with some wonderment at Ange Postecoglou’s impact with Celtic.
Scottish football is a curious place. In Yokohama F Marinos second or third can be a decent season, for Celtic that would be a disaster.
With his regular media appearances an Australian audience has discovered more about Celtic and how Scottish football has adapted to Ange. When he arrived Steven Gerrard was the biggest figure on the landscape, without doubt Celtic’s straight talking Greek-Aussie is the main man.
Ange Postecoglou was asked before Celtic’s big Champions League game with Real Madrid if he should be lowering the supporters’ expectations.
