Ibrox fans appear to have fallen silent after their club was fined for being involved in a price fixing agreement to rip fans off over kit sales.
With Sports Direct putting the boot into their new kit deal with Hummel the club entered agreements with Elite Sports, linked to Hummel for online sales and JD Sports to provide a high street presence for the famous chevrons.
When it was picked up that one shirt was being sold for £55 by JD Sports and for £60 by Elite there seemed an obvious solution.
Shamefully the club asked JD Sport to increase their price which they agreed to ensuring that loyal bears got charged £60 whatever retailer they bought from.
A £225,000 fine the Competition and Markets Authority has yet to be met with a club statement vowing to fight the decision. As well as the fine the club will have incurred legal costs over the action. Detail on the payout to Sports Direct over another breach of contract is expected when the club accounts for the year to 30 June 2022 are published.

Sevco ripping off Everyone, Anyone, even their own fans.
LOVELY JUBBLY KERCHING££££££££££££s.
According to BBC Scotland ,two retailers of the Rangers replica kits ,have been fined for keeping prices high ! It then goes on to say in a small aside , the Rangers were fined too ,almost incidentally ! Good to see the national broadcaster complying immediately with the party line . That did not take long ,did it ?
…and they also referred to them as “the Glasgow club” – desperately trying not to make it blunt as it should have read. Pathetic.
This is another aspect of the true unacceptable face of Scottish football: Scotland’s Shame.
Crooks, racists, bigots, thugs and fascists.
they have been fleecing there bigot fans for years lovely.
I love MY club more than most and if they had adopted this criminal behaviour I’d be done with them !!!!
HH
It’s in their DNA to cheat, they cannot run a club by the rules,no matter what.
When you add this latest episode to their sense of entitlement it shows just what a toxic club they are.
