It could hardly have been more sign posted. We Never Stop was more than a catch-phrase to get supporters onside for the new manager from a different continent.
Early last season Celtic supporters liked what they were seeing, crucially the players were on board, no-one was sulking around pining for the Lennon days which all seemed a bit more relaxed and off the cuff.
During the 90 minutes playing time generally 30 minutes is wasted with the ball out of play. Ange Postecoglou wanted to minimise that and the benefits were two-fold.
Firstly it keeps the game flowing and builds momentum, secondly with additional playing time opponents are worn down allowing Celtic to score goals- We Never Stop.

In Postecoglou’s first home SPFL match Celtic scored six against Dundee with goals in the 84th and 90th minutes, in the next home match they knocked six past St Mirren.
Going into Saturday’s match they had scored 13 in two away in the previous week. Little changes, opponents know what to expect but combatting that is another issue entirely.
