Worldwide subscribers to RTV were given a pre-match treat today when Tom Miller sang the national anthem before the match with Dundee United.
With Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side winning their first game this month there are likely to be repeated calls for Miller to sing GSTK/Q before future matches.
In truth it wasn’t the most inspirational of performances from Miller which was matched by the team on the park as they hung in grimly for a win against a team recently hammered 9-0 by Celtic.
After almost 10 days of mourning the Charles era begins in earnest away to Hearts in a fortnight, quickly followed by a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool.

Mad Tom the bomb with singing like that he will end with a gig in the louden,playing live tonight Big Tom and his band The Arseholes.
Unless he walks he won’t be gone before the Liverpool and Hearts games,Warnock won’t want to come in to another 2 or 3 skelpings he will let Goo Fanny take the hit for those results,then it is TATTIE BYE.

I remembered being told about a verse in the terrible national (scandal) anthem that mentioned “rebellious Scots to crush”. Apparently it’s still there but seldom sung. I just wonder if the new huns fans, the dumbest on the planet are aware of it:
The verse reads: “Lord grant that Marshal Wade, May by thy mighty aid, Victory bring. May he sedition hush, And like a torrent rush, Rebellious Scots to crush, God Save the King.” Imagine Scots actually singing, or are the new huns really Germanic too??
