Kyogo Furuhashi is fit and ready for another tilt at the Champions League.

The striker started the campaign on the bench against Real Madrid then started the away matches against Shakhtar Donetsk and RB Leipzig without finding the net.

Last week in Germany he did provide the perfect assist for Jota to draw Celtic level but after that it was a night to forget for Ange Postecoglou’s side as Leipzig powered their way to full points.

Celtic are looking to return that result on Marco Rose’s side tomorrow night with Kyogo and Giorgos Giakoumakis likely to split the striking duties.

The Greek striker played 90 plus minutes against St Johnstone which probably suggests that it will be Kyogo starting against Leipzig.

One issue of concern is the availability of Jota who missed training today after being replaced at half-time against St Johnstone due to fatigue.

Hopefully the winger will be involved tomorrow night, 60,000 fans under the lights on a Champions League night should prove to be a perfect pick-me-up for the Portuguese winger.
