Alex Cochrane wants his Hearts team-mates to take yellow cards against Celtic tomorrow.

When the two clubs met in August Cochrane took two yellow cards for his side alongside Toby Sibbick with Kevin Clancy waiting until the 89th minute before the first dismissal.

Robbie Neilson complained about the timing of those red cards but has bigger issues to worry about with his side losing 10 of their last 14 matches.

Nick Walsh will referee tomorrow’s match with back-up from Steven McLean as the first SPFL VAR official.

Looking forward to the match Cochrane told the Football Scotland:

It’s one of those games where sometimes you have to take bookings against Celtic. If you give them too much respect they can potential walk all over you.

From that game we stuck in there from the start to the end and we knew it was going to be tough.

On Saturday we’ve got the crowd behind us, we know what Tynecastle is going to be like and we need to be fully at it and start at 100 miles an hour.

After losing at Tynecastle on the opening day of last season Celtic have enjoyed five successive wins over the Edinburgh side.

With 10 goals scored in their last two matches Ange Postecoglou’s side look to be rediscovering their early season form. With Hearts and Livingston to be visited over the next two weekends the hoops face two big challenges either side of taking on Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.

Nothing that we didn’t already know about a visit to Tynecastle. However, now that its openly spoken about, isn’t this bringing the game into disrepute. Time for the Compliance Officer (if there still is one) to get involved.

Should this hearts player be pulled up for advocating violent conduct against a fellow professional . Managers are taken to task by the sfa/spfl for questioning referee decisions . And the reason given for the punishment (integrity and professionalism) are being questioned. So advocating violent conduct against a fellow professional…ok ….. Question a referees professionalism…. not ok….or is it the team he is advocating violent conduct against is ok

In other words ,the tackles will be coming in high ,fast and late ! That’s the only way Hearts can beat Celtic . Snide underhand , shan , tackles where the referee turns a blind eye . Once again ! Neilson would gladly order his Troglodytes to do so if he thought he had a chance to beat Celtic ,at the drop of a hat !
