Marcus Fraser couldn’t believe it when Nick Walsh pointed to the penalty spot after 30 minutes at Ibrox on Saturday.

Declan Gallagher stretched out to clear a low ball towards the six yard box with Antonio Colak deciding to hit the deck once the ball had been cleared.

Walsh, back at work this morning, training Murray Park starlets at Boclair High School in Bearsden, didn’t flinch as he pointed to the penalty spot with barely a claim from the players or fans at Ibrox.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Fraser said:

I couldn’t believe he gave it. I was behind Dec, I didn’t have the clearest view by any means but Dec touches the ball. Colak went down like a second after and I couldn’t believe he pointed to the spot.

The ref obviously thought there was contact. Those are the things you need to go for you to stay in the game. The manager stressed before the game if we went 1-0 up or 1-0 down, the game plan stays the same. We got to half-time but when it goes to three, there are gaps and a wee bit of tiredness crept in. We’ll look at that and try to improve.

A quick troll through Walsh’s record would have tipped Fraser and his team-mates off over what to expect on Saturday, it isn’t an accident that the PE teacher was given his third match of the season involving Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.

Between October 3 and December 12 Ryan Porteous, Stephen O’Donnell and Josh Ginnelly were sent off by Walsh in matches against the Ibrox Tribute Act.

I read a stat the other day.. Walsh has refereed 20 sevco games and given 17 penalties

Editor: Completely wrong. There are plenty of genuine stats to attack Walsh with such as Callum McGregor, Ryan Porteous, Stephen O’Donnell and Josh Ginelly being sent off against the Ibrox Tribute Act over a six month period. All very predictable.

How many penalties has Walsh actually awarded to the zombies?

This just proves how corrupt our football is…from the “blazer brigade to our referee supervisors.
How on earth can a referee associated with Rangers be allowed to referee their games.
Rest assured if it was at the other end,a penalty would not have been awarded.
How come when they play in Europe they don’t get any….because its not Scottish referees.
    TOTAL CORRUPTION!!!!
