Even after two 4-0 defeats last month the scale of the defeat from Liverpool was a sore one to take with Barrie left to answer the questions sitting on the media gantry at Ibrox soon after the happy Scousers had been celebrating Mo Salah and his six minute hat-trick.

Whilst there was no getting away from the humiliation of this home defeat,
he did stress the valid point: how can sevco decline from an EL Final 5 months ago,
to such a horrendous showing at home?
