Joshua Barrie was made to field the questions from furious bears after Liverpool’s 7-1 Champions League win at Ibrox.
Two weeks ago the on-message Rangers Review was chosen to give Stewart Robinson and James Bisgrove an easy outlet to feed excuses to fans upset by results and the failure to spend any of the £40m Champions League windfall.
Smooth talking Teuchter Barrie appears alongside Jonny McFarlane and Derek Clark on the Rangers Review which has virtually merged with The Herald and Evening Times to feed comforting news to gullible bears.
Even after two 4-0 defeats last month the scale of the defeat from Liverpool was a sore one to take with Barrie left to answer the questions sitting on the media gantry at Ibrox soon after the happy Scousers had been celebrating Mo Salah and his six minute hat-trick.
Capitulation doesn’t sum it up
Rangers were absolutely terrible
To fold to a six minute hat-trick
I did watch a sevco YouTuber last night for the reaction.
Whilst there was no getting away from the humiliation of this home defeat,
he did stress the valid point: how can sevco decline from an EL Final 5 months ago,
to such a horrendous showing at home?
Gio is right up against it now.
If we pull away in the SPL, he’ll be toast by January – if not before. 🙂
