Ange Postecoglou gave Kyogo Furuhashi a gentle reminder that the striker is still a massive favourite of the Celtic support.
The early season goal-scoring touch may have deserted the striker a little but he still has the complete confidence of his manager.
On another day Kyogo could have been going into the second half with a hat-trick the target but whatever he tried in the first half the ball just wouldn’t roll his way.
Before the match Chris Sutton had suggested that the Japanese forward was suffering a crisis of confidence, the first 45 minutes certainly backed up that view.
Ange sends Kyogo to celebrate with supporters. Clearly missing chances has been impacting the wee man. Good man mgmt and hopefully Kyogo can get back to his best moving forward as he’s a superb player #Celtic pic.twitter.com/g7WzshKRgi

In the 75th minute Kyogo showed that his instinct hasn’t deserted him, after Liel Abada’s shot came off the post he was in the right place to tuck away the rebound for his eighth goal of the season.
On Saturday Celtic face Hearts at Tynecastle with Kyogo and Giorgos Giakoumakis in contention for the striker role.
