Simon Jordan has warned Michael Beale that he will be facing a very different Celtic to the one that he knew in his previous stint at Ibrox.
The QPR boss is strongly tipped to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst and pick up the challenge of a club nine points behind in the SPFL Premiership after just 15 matches.
When Beale and Steven Gerrard left in November 2021 they were four points ahead of Celtic with the hoops very much in transition under Ange Postecoglou.
The January transfer window turned out to be pivotal in last season’s title race, Celtic started the month trailing by six points but by midnight on February 2 they were sitting on top- and haven’t looked back since.
Beale’s expected move to Ibrox was discussed on TalkSPORT this morning with Jordan surprised that the 42-year-old appears keen on taking on Postecoglou in a head-to-head for honours.
? “I’m perplexed why you would be so strident in your views [about integrity].”
???? “Then 35 days later that’s changed.”
? “Seemingly turning down #WWFC was nothing to do with staying at #QPR.”

People will say perhaps he’s facing some pressure at QPR in a couple of games’ time if he doesn’t win those games.
Going to Rangers at this point is such a big risk because Celtic have got such a good hold of the league. Postecoglou is in such good nick.
On January 2 Postecoglou will take on his third Ibrox managerial opponent, in August 2021 he was up against Gary McAllister while Steven Gerrard isolated, in four SPFL clashes against van Bronckhorst the Australian took 10 points out of 12 with a goal difference of 10-2.
