James Tavernier has claimed that there is no crisis at Ibrox.

You won’t see a cracked club crest on the back of the Daily Record any time soon but a look at social media might persuade the Ibrox skipper to think again on that comment.

The only thing that fans disagree on is the extend of the clear out required with the blame game extending well beyond Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Transfer guru Ross Wilson doesn’t seem very popular with others wanting to clear out CEO Stewart Robertson while no one quite understands the role of Chairman Douglas Park.

Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent can check out tomorrow without being missed, some fans no longer believe that John Lundstram is the best midfielder on earth with doubts over the leadership and bravery of the serial loser wearing the armband.

Responding to that Tav claimed:

It’s definitely not a crisis. I have full belief in the team and what we know we can do. That’s what we have to apply on the pitch. There’s a lot of games to go. It would be criminal for us as a team to think it’s all over at this stage of the season.

We’ve got to get better. We’ve got to get injuries back into the team after the break. And we know we’ve got the performances in us. So there’s nothing to be worried about but it’s down to us as a team to nail it down.

We’ve obviously had a couple of results recently that you don’t want to see. It’s always a tight league and if you drop points it can always send signals especially to the fans that they might start thinking it’s a bit of a crisis.

But as players we believe. We set out to win every single game and we’ve got to do that. We’ve just got to keep pushing ourselves and keep performing. And we need to finish off before the World Cup with two wins.

Since the start of September Tav and his pals have won six out of 15 matches. Gareth Southgate names his England squad for the World Cup Finals tomorrow.
