Ten days on after apparently asking questions about Jota’s disallowed goal away to Motherwell it seems that Celtic have quietly accepted the half-hearted explanation from the SFA.

Suspicions were raised when Motherwell TV shared a long distance image with blurred lines to justify David Dickinson’s decision to disallow a Goal of the Season contender from the Celtic winger.

After a welter of complaints from Celtic supporters on social media David Friel of The Sun reported that the hoops hierarchy had contacted the SFA for clarification.

The former Celtic View reporter is very well connected inside his old employer, in February 2021 he discovered Neil Lennon’s resignation 10 hours before the Stock Market announcement.

On the Friday morning, more than 36 hours after the match had finished at Fir Park the SFA admitted that there had been a problem with one camera but without publishing any new evidence they were standing by Dickinson’s decision.

Celtic were again the victims of a huge refereeing error at home to Ross County when David Munro awarded a penalty for handball by Matt O’Riley with VAR official Euan Anderson in full agreement.

In trademark style, just like his mentor Peter Lawwell, new Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson has taken no further action, accepting the SFA statement and happy to move on for the good of Scottish football.

At the 2019 Celtic AGM, Lawwell told shareholders that he had never seen the Five Way Agreement of 2012 completed and signed off by his close friend Neil Doncaster.

This year Nicholson admitted to reading the Five Way Agreement but claimed that it didn’t disadvantage Celtic despite one club having a separate set of rules.

Sevco are trying to pull the destruction of the league they are a 10 year old club through mismanagement by trying to cover up dodgy payments not putting their finances properly to HMRC. I suspect they may be at it again but they are not going to admit it to the Supporters who have stuck by their team

He who pays the piper calls the tune , for the celtic boards inertia not be worried about this history of cheating among scottish referee , s , and the fans being accused of paranoia smacks of disloyalty to the supporters , it’s there to see openly , the club must consult advice from outside of scotland , be it legal or a professional referee body outside the rotten cabal !! don’t furk us over !! respect us !!

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

It’s too late for me and the day Doncaster said Sevco were the same club – Absolutely – then that was it for me going to every home game at Parkhead when the board never challenged it… looks like I was bang on as Bankier wouldn’t answer the ‘new club’ question at this years AGM…

I simply don’t want my cash going towards a bent sport or competition – however I still buy Celtic strips etc as they were made honestly if no doubt by hard working folks in probably far away lands but honest lands unlike the dishonest country of ma birth – Scotland !

    • Scud Missile says:

And that’s why there will never be change in the boardroom at Parkhead because of people like yourself still daft enough to part with your cash, and we have the cheek to laugh at sevco fir doing the same thing to their dafties that follow them.

  • Stephen McAdam says:

We really need this boardroom rid out!! Its sad when we doing ok on the pitch the mind changes focus they and Desmond are an issue many things way wrong and that main stand should been rebuilt years ago!! A billionaire majority shareholder that does very little we dont want his money but he has no vision or real desire we need real Celtic business peope that se the future and plan and expand this lot love the huns it seems sadly, pathetic!

  • Terence Nova says:
