Holding onto a four point gap in the SPFL Premiership is the lifeboat for Ibrox fans as their season unravels.
The gap at the top of the table can largely be put down to the September 3 Glasgow derby but only the most gullible of bears believe that there is very little between the two city clubs.
Both clubs finished bottom of their Champions League groups but the reactions from supporters has been vastly different.

Compare and contrast with the moon howlers on Ibrox Noise. In among the grumbling and rage articles, calling out the abysmal performances, boring style of play, lack of effort etc and wanting everyone from the board to the ball boys cleared out, there’s this hilarious little gem: “ Rangers have already proven this season 56 is within our grasp”. Maybe they mean 56 points. Or is there a special prize this year where the winner gets 55 league titles?
