It is doubtful if there is a friendlier footballer in Scotland that Kyogo Furuhashi.

Whenever an opponent is on the ground injured the Celtic striker will almost certainly be hovering around checking on the welfare regardless of what had gone on between the them.

Last season when he was out injured Kyogo could often be found around the tunnel or dug-out encouraging team-mates and taking as much pleasure from victories as he did while he was out on the pitch.

A week ago against Dundee United Kyogo was the hero with Celtic’s third goal ensuring victory after some erratic refereeing by David Dickson threatened to deny the home side a win.

Afterwards, approaching the Green Brigade in the Standing Section the little striker gave it heart and soul- a picture of happiness as he danced around to the delight of the fans.

Last week Sead Haksabanovic chipped in with two goals that were largely overlooked as the substitutes came off the bench to save the day.

There was no denying Haksabanovic yesterday, after David Turnbull had equalised another dubious penalty Celtic were chasing a goal to go nine points clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership.

With a quick run in the penalty box and a perfectly struck low drive the former Rubin Kazan winger steered his shot beyond Ross Laidlaw and inside the post to put Celtic in front.

It was the perfect send off into a five week break with a nine point lead and overcoming the increasingly dubious decisions that are being given against them almost on a game by game basis.
