Ridvan Yilmaz is being lined up for an early Ibrox exit with Galatasaray showing intrest in the Turkish flop.
Soon after Calvin Bassey was sold to Ajax a £5m deal was agreed with Besiktas to sign up the young defender as Ross Wilson kick started his player trading model.
With his slight build Yilmaz looked the complete opposite of Bassey with Borna Barisic re-emerging as a key part of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.
After starting just five match the young Turk picked up a hamstring injury with the change of manager creating the perfect scenario for all parties to cut their losses.
Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk told The Sun:
As yet, we haven’t made a formal move for any player, but we are watching a lot of them.
With regards to the ones mentioned – Ridvan Y?lmaz, Halil Akbunar and Deniz Undav – they are all good players and we are evaluating all of them. We have all their matches followed.
Perhaps things will become more clear in January, but we have not had a meeting with any of them at the moment.
With the summer transfer profit used up to pay off Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his backroom team Micky Beale will have to be creative in the January transfer window, shifting Yilmaz quietly out the door could free up a wage to bring someone in on loan.
Bealiola can turn water into wine… this shouldn’t be a problem for him……

The Ibrox ‘phone bill just went up.
