Dan Orlowitz has given a glowing insight into reported Celtic target Tomoki Iwata.
According to the Daily Mail the midfielder from Yokohama F Marinos is a January target for Celtic with Ange Postecoglou preparing to return to his former club for a sixth J-League signing.
Iwata seems to be an all-rounder midfielder, not one to be categorised into a 6, 8 or 10 role.
He was the deserved J1 MVP in a title-winning season, I’m sure Ange has kept an eye on him.
Celtic have signed 4 ?? players; 3 have become regulars & 1 impressed at World Cup. Pretty unimpeachable as far as strategies go. https://t.co/MgVohl2qyP

At the moment it seems that Postecoglou is well served by midfielders but the Celtic boss is always thinking at least one transfer window ahead.
When he arrived at Celtic in June 2021 he found a club seriously short on players with Kris Ajer, Odsonne Edouard, Olivier Ntcham and Ryan Christie also on the way out.
In just three transfer windows Postecoglou has put together a strong squad with quality and depth in every area but the phrase We Never Stop applies just as much to transfer activity as training sessions and matches.
