Hearts and Dundee United served up an entertaining 2-2 draw at Tannadice today but the match was overshadowed by a serious leg injury to Craig Gordon.
The former Celtic keeper raced from his goal to be confronted by Steven Fletcher, the goalkeeper got the first touch before a full on collision between the two Scotland internationalists.
Referee Colin Stephen awarded a penalty to United but with a six minute delay as both players received treatment he reviewed the incident and restarted with a free kick to Hearts.
Gordon was given oxygen as he was stretchered off, Zander Clark took his place with a penalty at the other end from Lawrence Shankland giving Hearts a point in a 2-2 draw.
