Chris Sutton has had enough.

The amount of times that Borna Barisic has been teamed up with Josip Juranovic has become too much.

One of those full-backs is starting his sixth World Cup tie tonight with every chance of featuring in the official FIFA team of the tournament. The other has played one match then was swiftly returned to the substitute bench, out of harm.

Football Scotland and the BBC have been eager to pair the two players up to fit their Glasgow narrative as the gap at the top of the SPFL Premiership table escalates.

The need to cling on to another reluctant ‘partner’, to reach out for reflected glory is reminiscent of the club that created an O** F*** walkway for a derby match last season with the same phrase used on pitch-side advertising.

It is a cultural thing. English culture could never produce a master-class as shown by the Argentines in the first half. It isn’t in their locker!
