Beale piles the pressure on Ibrox board to deliver three big money signings this month

Michael Beale has piled pressure onto the Ibrox board to deliver at least three new signings before the transfer window closes.

For the second Friday running the former QPR boss has been drooling over his role in transfer talks, last week he was looking deep into the eyes of his transfer targets to establish if they had the character to play alongside Borna Barisic, Ryan Jack and James Tavernier.

Todd Cantwell has been touted for a move from Norwich all week with Beale happy to encourage that speculation.

Blackburn had a £1.5m offer for Cantwell rejected- if Beale wants the midfielder Ross Wilson will have to better that offer, find a signing on fee and a bumper three or four year contract on similar terms to John Lundstram and Kemar Roofe.

It’s progressed well, I’m pleased with where it is at. As soon as there is news we’ll let everyone know.

We’re eager to let everyone know but these fings take a little bit of time. My bit is done, if that makes sense and now its over to the other people to finalise the fings.

But as far as I can see I’m really pleased with the way that two or free fings are going, they are heading in the right direction. So, I didn’t fink that anyone would be in before this game and I didn’t really want to disrupt the group either.

The group is quite settled, hopefully in the next week or so we’ll see one or two fings being confirmed.
