Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that there is widespread interest in Giorgos Giakoumakis.
Yesterday Sampdoria were linked with the striker who seems likely to be on the move from Celtic this month.
Italian based Romano is regarded as a transfer specialist with over 13 million followers on Twitter. At 8.30am this morning his tweet about Giakoumakis had been viewed 1.6m times.

Before the World Cup break Giakoumakis shared striking duties with Kyogo Furuhashi but over the last six matches the Greek internationalist has had to content himself with a place on the bench.
With a contract running until May 2026 there seems to be little scope for a major salary hike to put Giakoumakis on a par with Celtic’s top earners.
Now into his fourth transfer window Ange Postecoglou has been in firm control of transfer activities but managing the striker situation could be his biggest test either replacing Giakoumakis or keeping him onboard when it seems clear that he is looking for a better deal elsewhere.
