Ibrox fans are at breaking point as their board fail to deliver the signings required to kick start the Micky Beale Revolution.

Well past the halfway stage in the transfer window there is still no sign of new faces with Swansea going public about a failed bid for Morgan Whittaker who had been out on loan with Plymouth Argyle. West Brom and Ipswich are also interested in the former Derby striker.

Beale has been trying his best to coax the board into bringing in new players but with the wage bill significantly higher this season than last there is serious pressure on funds.

The £4.9m transfer surplus from July and August was used to pay off Giovanni van Bronckhorst leaving Beale to be imaginative in the transfer market.

Long term injuries to Kemar Roofe and Tom Lawrence are a serious drain on wages while Antonio Colak has only managed 45 minutes of action since Beale joined the club in November.

Beale will no doubt be on message when he faces the media tomorrow but entering the final week of the window isn’t the best time to bring in new faces as Amad Diallo and Aaron Ramsey demonstrated a year ago.
