With less than four hours left in the Scottish transfer window there appears to be no sign of movement with Giorgos Giakoumakis.
Over the last week it has been reported from credible sources that Celtic have accepted offers from Urawa Red Diamonds and Atlanta United.
Giakoumakis has missed Celtic’s last three matches, on Friday he was pictured flying back to Glasgow after undergoing a medical in Amsterdam which had been arranged by Urawa.
Both the MLS and J-League transfer windows remain open until April which leaves open the possibility that the Greek striker could remain at Celtic beyond midnight and still move on in the spring.
Oliver Abildgaard has left Celtic to join Hellas Verona with Ange Postecoglou open to other fringe players moving on after bringing in four new signings this month.

GG can still move to a Foreign Club if Celtic agree.
It’s the Scottish / English Transfer Windows that are closed for incoming players.
Every Club must stick to their own National Association’s Transfer Window for incoming players
just like us. But we can release, transfer out players if it’s in the Club’s interest.
The issue is that a New player can only be registered by the New Club’s National Association during that Association’s
Transfer Window.
