With a place in the Hibs team in action at Ross County tonight it seems 99.99% certain that Kevin Nisbet will finish the season as a Hibs player.
There has been regular speculation that the forward could be on his way to Celtic with rumours intensifying on Friday when he pulled out of a move to Millwall at the last minute.
It seemed inevitable that another move was in the pipeline but on Saturday Nisbet came off the bench to score twice against Aberdeen.
New Wigan boss Shaun Maloney was reported to have put in a bid for the Hibs striker but that was turned down with Nisbet included in the squad for tonight’s match.

With a contract that runs until May 2024 Nisbet is likely to be sold in the summer with Hibs anxious to avoid a repeat of Ryan Porteous’ cut price move to Watford.
Still plenty of time.
Ah well.Maybe next time.
