The Union Bears won’t be producing one of their infamous jigsaw tifos at tomorrow’s Glasgow derby.
Late on Sunday afternoon the Broomloan Collective issued a statement to explain tomorrow’s lack of activity.
Between the lines it appears that Police Scotland have objected to the contents of tomorrow’s display, a decision not to go ahead wouldn’t have been made by the Ultra group less than 24 hours before kick-off.

At the last Glasgow derby played at Ibrox in April a large number of glass bottles were recovered from the corner housing the Union Bears.
A Celtic physio was struck in the head by a glass bottle while glass mysteriously appeared in Joe Hart’s goalmouth during the half time break. At the Celtic AGM in November Michael Nicholson claimed that the CCTV had failed to record the incidenT.
In 2006 UEFA imposed a ban on singing The Billy Boys at all football matches, the SFA had never sanctioned any action on it, tomorrow it is likely to be heard loud and clear without any comment, actions or sanctions.
In all likelihood the Tifo was full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors so the police have told them not to display it as the embarrassment would be to much to ” bear”.
What was the outcome of broken glass in Celtic’s penalty box second half plus member of staff being hit by bottle
Editor: Lets all move along for the good of the O** F*** according to CEO Nicholson.
