An 88th minute goal from Kyogo Furuhashi silenced Ibrox and maintained Celtic’s nine point lead at the top of the SPFL Premiership.

Celtic looked in the mood to rack up a comfortable victory when Daizen Maeda opened the scoring in the fifth minute, taking advantage of a slack pass from Alfredo Morelos to tear through the home defence.

At times Celtic were touching 70% possession but a slip from Joe Hart on the half hour was salvaged when the keeper touched a Ryan Kent shot onto the post.

Within 10 minutes of the second half Celtic found themselves 2-1 down as Josip Juranovic and Carl Starfelt were left exposed down the left flank.

Aaron Mooy and Liel Abada were thrown on, followed by Giorgos Giakoumakis and Jota as Celtic pushed for an equaliser.

With two minutes left Mooy and Giakoumakis caused panic in the home defence, the ball broke to Kyogo who steered his shot high into the net from eight yards out.

John Beaton decided to play seven extra minutes but there was no further scoring with the hoops nine points clear after 20 Premiership matches.

So when will something seriously get done about the cheating BLATANT CHEATING.
Here is my take on it Ange will be the one to call it out, though that will bring his managerial career to an end at Celtic with his reason being that he can’t manage a team in a corrupt league, this could be by the end of this season.

they thought they where going to win but we never give up not at our best, but still 9 clear as we know these matches form means nothing well done celtic .

Happy New Year to all Celtic Fans. Just one question Joe, how in the name of G@d was no penalty given for the Goldson hand ball. Both hands raised at head height away from his body and his lead hand stops the ball changing its direction.

You won’t see a less contentious more clear cut penalty to deliberate on. FFS. This is so blatant and so obvious.

As I’ve said previously, I think Ange will take off after he wins the league this season. He is too much of a professional to accept being hog-tied in this backwater country, because “it’s just the way it is here”. Yet again another disgrace which may have cost 2 points.

Unacceptable, but for whatever sinister reason beyond me, Celtic will again say nothing. Fkn shocking

Exactly why I no longer pay not one thin dime (to quote Fergus) to Celtic FC to watch a clearly corrupt, rigged and bent game here in not so Bonnie Scotland…

  • Frankie says:

How can Beale mole say they deserved to win the game, what about the blatant penalty not given , not much said about that, by the way totally agree with scud missile

  • Frankie says:

According to Beale they should have won according to ref cheats what about penalty to Celtic Beale nothing said about that

  • the maister says:

Seven minutes is what got added on at Pittodrie, with the Huns losing 3-2, after no VAR decisions and only one, or two maximum, Substitution windows in the second half.
They scored in the 95th and 97th minutes. Any which way!
