Alfredo Morelos has apparently rejected the chance to join Konyaspor of Turkey.

A deal on a transfer fee would have to be agreed before an approach could be made for the striker although his agent could be sounded out at the same time as his current club.

January was the 11th transfer window in which there has been speculation over Morelos leaving Ibrox, a move to Inter Milan was as far fetched as it gets.

Covering the latest speculation, The Sun report:

ALFREDO MORELOS has rejected big-money interest from Turkish side Konyaspor.

And the Rangers striker hasn’t ruled out signing a new long-term contract at Ibrox.

Morelos is free to talk to other clubs as he enters the last few months of his deal — but he wasn’t tempted by Konyaspor.

The Super Lig side were told they would be wasting their time with a late bid before today’s Turkish deadline.

Morelos’ current Ibrox deal runs out in the summer and he looked to be heading for the exit door earlier this season.

At the end of his contract Morelos is expected to move to Mexico or Colombia, if no offers come in he could do a Goldson.
