Ange Postecoglou is confident of having a full compliment of midfielders available for the Viaplay Cup Final next Sunday.
The hoops boss has built up a real wealth of talent in that area with Oliver Abildgaard and Yosuke Ideguchi moving out during the January transfer window.
Since returning from the World Cup Finals Aaron Mooy has forced his way into the regular Starting XI while David Turnbull provides a regular supply of goals, often while coming off the bench.
Mooy and Turnbull were both missing from the squad that beat Aberdeen 4-0 but Postecoglou expects both midfielders to be back in training in midweek to push their claims for involvement at Hampden.
The Celtic boss told The Irish News:
Az (Mooy) just pulled up a bit sore in training (on Friday). I thought, he has played a lot for us recently, and I was pretty keen to give (Tomoki) Iwata some game time as well.
I just thought it was a good one for Az to sit out and, talking to the medical team, both him and Turnbull should be training Tuesday and Wednesday when we are in and should be right for the final
Kyogo Furuhashi came off the bench to replace Oh Hyeon-gyu for the last 20 minutes of the Aberdeen match to shake off concerns about the shoulder injury he suffered against St Mirren last week.
