Douglas Ross has been speaking about the Green Brigade banner aimed at him during Celtic’s Scottish Cup tie against St Mirren.
The leader of the Scottish Tories draws salaries from Westminster and Holyrood but likes to top them up with expenses fuelled trips to Glasgow for football matches in conjunction with his friends at the SFA.
Soon after being elected unopposed as leader of the Scottish Tories he was appointed to a number of matches at Celtic Park and Ibrox while matches were played behind closed doors.

I saw the banner being unveiled, I don’t think anyone could have not seen it given the size it was. But my duty at Celtic Park was to run the line, to be an assistant referee, and that’s where my focus was for the entire 90 minutes.
A hamstring injury brought that income stream to a halt just as the member from Moray started to pile the weight on with an expanding waistline and disappearing chin.
This season he has been on the line for four Premiership matches, Saturday’s appointment at Celtic Park suggests that the SFA are fast tracking him back into lucrative, high profile fixtures.
