With the Scottish media in the middle of an O** F*** frenzy it seems that FACTS! And the truth are early casualties.
The more trophies that Celtic win the more desperate some elements become to generate a rivalry as can be seen by the pathetic attempts to crank up a ‘war of words’ between Ange Postecoglou and Micky Beale.
One has been in management for 26 years, the other for just over 26 weeks (36 football matches to be precise).
Airbrushing over the administration and liquidation of Rangers in 2012 is an absolute must in the attempts to stoke up a rivalry between the finalists- a Celtic v St Johnstone cup final is unlikely to see trophy counts produced in the build up.
A graphic of the last 11 years would be more helpful for the social media team at Viaplay Sports, perhaps the Union Bears could help them out with Celtic and St Johnstone followed by a variety of clubs such as St Mirren, Hibs, Aberdeen, Ross County, Inverness Caley Thistle, Hearts and Kilmarnock.

That’s a brilliant head to head stat but the best ever for getting that point over is the headline from The Herald newspaper all those years ago,Rangers Born 1872- Died 2012 R.I.P.
Yep – Great point Scud ! – I did screenshot all of these front page headlines from 2012 from sites like this, got them printed off both A4 for my own admiration when I feel like it and also pocket sized copies of each paper headline on rigid paper…
Absolutely brilliant evidence to throw at them when they start the ‘same club’ pish – It doesn’t half shut them up these things and rapidly at that !
And while I wouldn’t expect any Hoops fan to annoy them in a pub say in Brigton, you can do it here and I do regularly and love it !!!!

Please don’t say ‘fixed it for you lads ‘ in your headline ! That will only give the tribute act and it’s multitude of followers ideas . We have big bad Borna Barisic in today’s dwindling Record rag ,stating that the Rangers have to win ‘ whatever it takes .’ Now , someone neutral reading that might be forgiven for interpreting that as possible ‘corrupt practices,’ but I could not possibly comment ……Ken !
