Way back on January 21 BBC Scotland trailed their exclusive interview with Micky Beale, confirmation that the seven year tiff between the state broadcaster and the Tribute Act was well and truly over.
During his three and a half years in charge BBC Scotland didn’t attend a single media conference with Steven Gerrard never mind get to sit down and pick the brains of the Liverpool legend.
Some quotes about Celtic and lucky Postecoglou were used in the trailer with the promise that the full interview would be broadcast in February.
With less than a week to go in February BBC Scotland have still to broadcast their world exclusive.
At least twice a week Beale has been sharing his views on almost every subject making the BBC interview from mid-January more and more pointless.
Since the interview Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin have been signed, Beale’s side have won every domestic game to date yet still BBC Scotland are refusing to share the thoughts of the former QPR boss.
??’In the last 12 months he’s spent more than what Steven Gerrard spent in three and a half years’ ?
Michael Beale on what motivated his ‘lucky man’ comment about Ange Postecoglou ??

On January 22 BBC Scotland announced:
In an exclusive BBC Scotland interview, Rangers manager Michael Beale explains why he described Celtic counterpart Ange Postecoglou as “a lucky man”.
The full Beale interview will appear across the BBC in February.
But which February? February 2023?
If sevco win, it will be released with all the fanfare. If they lose, it will be stored in the vault beside the Gregory Campbell interview.
They will air it right after the game or not depending on the result. They don’t want to motivate the Celtic players any more than they have already
Charles, Our players need no more motivation than the, Ange pep talk and their own standards. Both go hand in hand. No need for soundbites, mad delusional mantra, just a need to prove you are up to the task within the squad. Work hard, train well and you will earn your place.
Guaranteed this will get played either this Friday or Saturday the perfect remedy pick me up for the BIGOTS before the final, thinking it will get to Big Ange and the players, what you would call a spanner in the works, all down to timing by the BBC.
The BBC still pushing their “Old Firm” crappo. Wasn’t so “Firm” in 2012 and hasn’t been since.
Just a load of Hun-crap!
I think the BBC will hold it until the outcome of Sunday’s match.
If they win it will be broadcast next week and, as far as the BBC are concerned, the more abrasive the better.
If Celtic win then I think it will be quietly binned.
It’s scheduled to go out on the 30th of February.
