John Lundstram will miss Sunday’s Scottish Cup tie against Partick Thistle on Sunday but is expected to return to action next Saturday away to Livingston.
The iron-man midfielder suffered a sore ankle against Ross County last week, after treatment on the park he was replaced 12 minutes into the match.
Lundstram was spotted leaving Ibrox wearing a moonboot with Micky Beale giving out brief details at today’s media conference.

Kent’s Roofe back in training. We will pick a strong team without too many changes.
John Soutter and Tom Lawrence both training on their own still.

MB – Ridvan will be another 3 weeks. I have high hopes for him.
Don’t want to put a timescale on Tom & John.— Colin ? (@atcolin) February 10, 2023
Lundstram won’t be available for this weekend and should hopefully be back for the Livingston game. He took a sore one on his ankle. He will definitely be back for the final at the end of the month.
Lawrence and Souttar have been on the brink of a return to action for sometime without actually getting near a matchday squad.
There seems to be no news on Filip Helander who hasn’t played this season, is a top fella but out of contract in May.
He broke a nail .
