Rangers Radio provided some group therapy to fans unable to come to terms with the events of 2012 when their beloved institution died in front of their eyes.
Years of mismanagement by Dave Murray ended with the recruitment of Craig Whyte with the former billionaire unable to do anything as HMRC pushed the club into administration over non-payment of Income Tax and National Insurance.
Throughout the whole saga loyal bears sat with their hands in their pockets, joining the dots between the dastardly coalition of HMRC, John Reid, SFA, Co-op Bank, the Vatican and Peter Lawwell that led their club into administration followed a couple of months later by the start of liquidation.
276 creditors were left high and dry ranging from Her Majesty to a face painter with football clubs, taxi firms, newsagents and florists among those left counting the cost of offering a credit account.
Had the fans asked awkward questions of Murray or the directors acted for the shareholders the club could have been saved. It wasn’t.
Over the last 11 years the most ridiculous conspiracy theories have been put forward with bizarre explanations given over how the club formed in 2012 by Charles Green came through the divisions to reach the top flight with an additional year spent in the championship.
Despite the hurt and pain no lessons have been learned, an emergency share issue to raise £1m at the end of January went unquestioned with most online fans seeing it as great news that directors/investors are willing to throw more money into the black hole.
The Banter Years are referred to as The Journey- there appears to be plenty more chapters to be enjoyed.

Top of the pile, 9 points behind the champions.
The bitterness and sense of victimhood is incredible. Still.

“It’s etched in the memory of every supporter what happened to the club”…..
Can he tell us what happened to the “club” 11 years ago?
I thought it was a problem with the holding company subsidiary company vehicle and not the ‘club’

Not once do they mention what happened to the club that had them make this mythical journey they love to reminisce over.
