According to wee Davie Martindale there is nuffing between Ange Postecoglou and Michael Beale, they have identical head-to-heads!
When Beale bailed out of QPR his new club were nine points behind the Premiership leaders with Celtic to visit Ibrox on January 2.
Postecoglou’s selection was heavily impacted by illness, John Beaton delivered on honest mistakers but the visitors managed a 2-2 draw to retain their nine point lead.
Going into the weekend matches Celtic have a goal difference advantage of 25 after 25 matches. The two clubs meet at Celtic Park on April 8 where the hoops have a 100% home record.
Beale doesn’t have a 100% home record and has watched on as Celtic’s goal difference advantage has grown, at no stage has the new Ibrox boss been able to close that gap despite almost always playing their matches before the champions kick off.
Historically the gap is laughable- in 2017 Beale was managing the Liverpool u-5 academy team while Postecoglou was steering Australia to another World Cup Finals appearance.
The Celtic boss has won titles in Australia, Japan and Scotland as well as the Asian Cup, Beale has hung on to Steven Gerrard, lasted 12 matches as an assistant in Brazil and ditched QPR after shamefully undermining Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
If he doesn’t bring trophies quickly to Ibrox there won’t be many English doors getting thrown open to the great self promoter- or his wee cheerleading pal at the Tony Macaroni.

Scraping wins against relegation fodder with the aid of refereeing mistakes. Martindale brown nosing, preparing to lay down against his favourite club.

Michael Beale was brought in to close the gap, the one opportunity he could do himself, he failed. Ange is on another level.

Desperate for the job once Beale gets punted.

Had a love-in with Rangers on his interview, but “it’s not my job to comment on other clubs but concentrate on Livi”. Well, why doesn’t he do just that and stop fawning over Rangers and slagging Ange. Guy is a top grade numpty
