Ange Postecoglou lapped up every moment of Celtic’s Viaplay Cup Final win at Hampden.
The hoops boss has delivered a near flawless domestic campaign but the noise from the other side of the city has been almost overwhelming.
The Scottish media have soaked up every sound-bite from Micky Beale without any sort of comeback or questioning then fed it on to Postecoglou for a response.
Not once has the Celtic boss been tempted into biting back. His work is done on the training ground not in the media room with 26 years in management suggesting that he is more than decent at his job.
For half an our at Hampden today Celtic were holding onto a single goal lead, Sead Haksabanovic and others missed chances to kill the game off but finally Nick Walsh got round to signalling for time up.
After congratulating his players Postecoglou made his way to the Celtic support- it was clear that the manager was taking as much delight from the victory as any of the delighted fans.
