Brian Laudrup wants Micky Beale to send a side out at Hampden that will attack Celtic for 90 minutes- making them suffer for 90 minutes.
It is unclear how often Laudrup has watched Celtic in the flesh but that sort of approach could be a kamikaze tactic with Ange Postecoglou’s front line bursting with pace.
Routinely Celtic enjoy around 70% possession in domestic matches with three and four goal victories the order of the day in recent weeks.
Averaging more than three goals per game Celtic have built up a 26 goal difference advantage as well as a nine point cushion at the top of the SPFL Premiership.
Despite that Laudrup tells Daily Mail readers:
I make no bones about repeating how impressive the Parkhead club have been under Postecoglou overall. They will be the bookmakers’ favourites on Sunday.
What we haven’t seen, though, is a team really going at them and attempting to make them suffer defensively over a 90-minute game. It will be far from easy to achieve, but Rangers have to think that way.
St Mirren did play a very direct style against Celtic when they won 2-0 in September but that was on the back of a midweek Champions League tie involving a number of factors including the absence of Cameron Carter-Vickers from the Celtic defence.
is this the same Brian who was telling the board to spend big money[stop laughing at the back ]the same Brian who never paid back the e.b.t.s. the same Brian who had to get into the boot of a car when he was rank rotten over in Italy c,mon Brian you need to come up with something better than that shite you write .
Now now be fair…he never had an EBT.
Not going to argue with the rest…
No doubt every football fan would like to see their club attack for 90 mins. Why this is ‘printable’ is a mystery.
Go for it. A hat trick each for Kyogo & Maeda.
Why doesn’t brian pull on a strip,he’s much much better than the shut that’s there at 2012
