The VAR ‘discrepancies’ accelerated over the weekend in a very predictable manner.

With the Lanarkshire Referee Association at the heart of the action it was hardly a surprise with VAR providing a second opportunity for honest mistakes to come into play or as they are sometimes referred to in Scotland ‘interpretation’.

At Ibrox on Saturday Willie Collum was back on duty, at the end of January the SFA upheld an appeal from St Johnstone over the straight red card that had been issued to Nicky Clark. As a bonus ball Collum also presented the home side with a penalty.

Collum performed to expectations, digging out a bizarre first half penalty for the homeside then denying Kilmarnock a penalty in the 47th minute when Allan McGregor wiped out Rory McKenzie.

Andrew Dallas was on duty at St Mirren the following day and just like Daddy determined to be in the spotlight.

David Dickinson had a perfect view of the ball being played against Greg Taylor from less than a yard away, after more than two minutes of play Dallas suggested a check on the monitor with St Mirren quickly in front.

Seven minutes before half-time Dallas over-ruled Dickinson for a penalty call, this time no check on the monitor was required to over-rule the live decision of the referee and his assistant.

Finally with Celtic comfortably in front Dallas signalled for a shirt pull on Oh Hyeon-gyu with a penalty awarded and converted.

Further instalments are expected on Wednesday night then on Saturday at Tynecastle when Celtic visit in the Scottish CuP.

It is now 14 months since a penalty was awarded against the Ibrox club in the SPFL, since VAR came in Celtic have had six penalties awarded against them.

The klan are going TONTO tonight on FF even the DAFTIES on that site have called out Gibson for the SHITE he spoke today in that interview.
For the first time it looks like they are getting the nessage about no cash being there for players as well calling Gibson out about the Sydney cup shenanigans.
For Gibson to blame others for this and bragging about Beechgrove playing a blinder about telling the organisers of the tournament to do one after signing on the dotted line as it was a get out of jail card free, the KLAN ain’t best plesse with this as it shows the klan klub up as breaking the contract signed.
And to then say he is licking the arse off the board for doing such a tremendous job,he doesn’t have many fans on his side.
