Ange Postecoglou is confident that Greg Taylor will be fit and ready for Saturday’s Glasgow derby.
The defender missed out on a Scotland call up to nurse an injury but had to be substituted after 65 minutes of today’s 2-0 win away to Ross County.
Taylor took a leg knock, returned after treatment but went down a few minutes later with Alexandro Bernabei coming on as his replacement.
Injuries have started to mount at Celtic basked about his left-back being ready for Saturday’s match Postecoglou told the Glasgow Times:
He had a dead leg which hampered him. But it’s nothing that’s going to keep him out I wouldn’t think.
Liel Abada and Tony Ralston look to be unavailable for a couple of weeks but it seems likely that Aaron Mooy and Reo Hatate will be fit for Saturday’s top of the table clash.
With a nine point lead and eight matches left to play a win against Micky Beale’s side would put Celtic into a very strong position.
Very little will come out of Celtic over the next few days with no injury updates likely before Friday’s pre-match media conference.
